Buying accessories for your camera kit. by Christina Fox   (updated October 2010) So, you've got the camera (or just about to buy it) and you realise that you'll have to flex the credit card a bit more because you are going to need a whole load of kit to go with it. Obviously, it depends upon your budget and what you'll be shooting, but you'll probably need a tripod to keep the camera steady, one or two microphones and a way of connecting them to the camera, batteries, battery charger, lights, filters and something to carry them all around in.
